Mintrocket has announced that their hit adventure RPG, Dave the Diver, will officially launch on mobile platforms in 2026. After successful releases on PC, Nintendo Switch, and other consoles, the game is finally making its way to Android and iOS. The mobile version is being developed in partnership with the Chinese company XD. It is expected to be released first in China before becoming available to players globally later that same year.

Redesigned for a Better Mobile Experience

This new version of Dave the Diver is not just a direct port but a redesigned experience optimized specifically for smartphones. The developers are adding unique touch and motion controls to make the gameplay feel natural on a smaller screen. For example, players will be able to tilt their phones to perform certain actions like pouring tea in the sushi restaurant. These changes ensure that the mix of deep-sea exploration and restaurant management remains fun and engaging on the go.

More Content Planned for 2026

The mobile launch is just one part of a busy year for the franchise in 2026. Mintrocket also plans to release a massive story expansion called Dave the Diver: In the Jungle early that year. This DLC will add around 10 hours of new gameplay, including a freshwater lake to explore and a brand new restaurant called Bancho Grill. With both a mobile release and major new content on the horizon, fans of the series have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
