Since its inception in 2020 as a solo project by CEO Daniel Knight, Kinetic Games has grown into a robust team of over 30 employees. The vision for Kinetic Publishing stems from Daniel Knight’s own experiences as a fledgling developer. Knight expressed that he wanted to provide the kind of support he wished he had access to when he first launched Phasmophobia. The publishing team is led by five senior members of Kinetic Games, including Director of Marketing and Partnerships Asim Tanvir. The label aims to collaborate with small teams worldwide that have a clear creative vision and are approximately 18 months away from their scheduled launch. By offering these resources, Kinetic Games hopes to foster a thriving ecosystem for innovative indie titles.
