After an intense season of competition in the country’s premier women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league, NAVI PH and Team Liquid PH—Champions and First Runner-Up of Athena League Season 1, respectively—were formally recognized at the MPL Philippines Season 15 Playoffs Grand Finals as official Philippine representatives to the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025.
This marked a milestone moment not only for the teams but for Philippine esports as a whole, as it was the first time women’s MLBB teams were formally presented on the MPL stage in front of thousands of fans and community members.

Held at the iconic MPL Playoffs stage, the ceremony spotlighted NAVI PH and Team Liquid PH’s accomplishments following their dominant performances in the inaugural Athena League. These two powerhouse squads have emerged as key figures in the rise of women in esports—pushing boundaries and inspiring future generations of players.
The teams were welcomed as honorary guests at the Grand Finals, where they joined fans in the MPL PH Playgrounds for community showmatches and an exclusive meet-and-greet session. Selected players from both teams participated in friendly exhibition matches with event attendees, showcasing not just skill, but the vibrant spirit of community that defines MLBB in the Philippines.
Symbolic Awards and National Pride
During the official ceremony, NAVI PH and Team Liquid PH were called onstage alongside ONIC PH and Team Liquid (Men’s)—the MPL PH Season 15 finalists and the country’s representatives for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025.
To commemorate their achievement, the teams were awarded:
- The Athena League Championship Trophy – honoring their journey through the women’s league
- The prestigious Esports World Cup Triangular Key – symbolizing their qualification to represent the Philippines on the global stage

Following the presentation, NAVI PH and Team Liquid PH participated in a press conference where they reflected on their Athena League journey and expressed their gratitude to their fans, families, and the broader MLBB community.
