With that fiery call to action, Dead Space and Call of Duty creator Glenn Schofield set the tone for the opening of gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, urging executives and investors to rebuild a battered industry with bold ideas, stronger leadership, and creative courage.

The business area kicked off the start of the 4-day event with an opening ceremony. Lars Janssen and Felix Falk of game – the German Games Industry Association spoke on strengthening Europe–Asia ties through shared innovation, while DEPA President Assist. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin spotlighted Thailand’s thriving digital economy and creative tech ambitions.

Closing the ceremony, TGA President Kittipong Prucksa-aroon hailed the rise of Thailand’s developer community and the power of global partnership.

The conference also saw a fireside chat between Alexander Karpazis (Ubisoft Canada) and Gordon Van Dyke (Adorapixel, Sweden) reflecting on a decade of innovation and creative persistence behind the 10 years of Rainbow Six Siege.
