In a recent update, HoYoVerse announced that the TV exploration mode will be removed from the main storyline quests in Zenless Zone Zero. This decision is part of a broader list of optimizations shared through the game’s official channels.

The TV mode, which involved navigating Hollows by moving between screens, solving puzzles, unlocking doors, and facing enemies, received mixed reactions. While some players appreciated the unique mechanic, others found it less engaging.

To compensate, the developers will introduce a Fairy Auto Explore mode, allowing players to automatically complete TV mode commissions they’ve finished previously. Other upcoming features include an Agent control system, a Backup Battery Charge system to store unused charge time, and new ways to obtain Notorious Hunt materials beyond the weekly limit.

Future updates will also address battle logic, Hollow Zero modes, and Battle Rank criteria. Additionally, an “Agent Accompany” mode, which will let players interact with Agents outside of combat, is in development. However, its release date remains uncertain.
