“Albion Online,” the fantasy sandbox MMORPG developed by Sandbox Interactive has launched its new server in the Asia-Pacific region, “Albion East.” Along with offering an untouched version of the world of Albion, the new server offers faster connection speeds and optimized event times for players throughout the region. The game’s original server, now called “Albion West,” remains active, and both servers share the same free-to-play model with an optional per-character subscription.
Players can use one account for both servers. The servers are not region-locked, and all players worldwide are free to play on either. Both servers have the same game client and game content.
“Albion Online” is a sandbox MMORPG from Sandbox Interactive, set in the medieval fantasy world of Albion. Whether playing a hardened fighter, a farmer, a merchant, or a master craftsman, in the player-driven world every single weapon and every single building is created by the players. Thanks to a “you are what you wear” system free from typical class restrictions, a skilled archer can instantly become a powerful mage, allowing players to define their own roles within the game world. Whether PvE, PvP, or guild vs guild, every action in the game has a meaning.
Features of the “Albion East” (Asia Pacific) server:
- Greatly improved connection speeds and ping for the whole Asia-Pacific region
- A new and untouched version of the game, where all players start as equals and can claim their own piece of Albion
- A game world that is fully separate and independent from the existing “Albion West” server
- Timings of game and server events (territory battles, Crystal League, Faction Warfare, maintenance, etc.) that are optimized for the region
Founder Packs for “Albion East” remain available until April 30, with rewards claimable on either server. These rewards include exclusive items that will never be available again, along with valuable Gold and Premium. Founder Packs are available on the dedicated ”Albion East” page.
