Ash Ketchum Finally Becomes Pokemon World Champion After 25 Years

Most of us probably have finally by now but finally, after 25 long years, Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the Pokemon anime series has finally become the very best! His journey began in 1997 with the goal of becoming a Pokemon World Champion has been realized at last!

His ultimate goal was achieved during the latest episode of “Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series,” besting the Master Eight Tournament and beating Leon’s Sword and Shield. The episode recently premiered in Japan and will be broadcast worldwide sometime in the future.

His nearly 3-decade quest was aided by his loyal team of Pokemon consisting of Dragonite, Gengar, Lucario, Dracovish, and Sirfetch’d. And of course, Pikachu, who stood by his side all this time. Ash did win a League before in the Alola region, but this battle was the one that made him World Champion.

Our little boy from Pallet Town has achieved his dream! He really took his sweet time huh? Now the only thing he has to do now is learning how to grow up.
