“Aura Star 2”: Pokemon-Like Turn-Based RPG Begins CBT in China

The popular Aura Star IP, also known as Aola Star, is expanding with a new mobile game titled “Aura Star 2.” This pet turn-based RPG is set to begin its closed beta test (CBT) in China on May 31, 2024.

In Aura Star 2, players assume the role of Little Aura, a lively character who embarks on a journey through various regions of the Aura Star universe. Players will encounter and befriend creatures known as Yabis, adding depth to the adventure.

The limited CBT for Aura Star 2 will be available on Android and iOS platforms. Players can download the game from May 30 to June 2, 2024, and registration will be open from May 31 to June 2, 2024. This test is a deletion and billing test, meaning all progress will be wiped at the end of the testing period.

To participate, players must complete the download registration within the specified period to secure their spot on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration can be done through the Haoyou Kuaidao App Store. While the game’s Google Play Store page is active in Taiwan, there is no information on availability for other regions.

The game will also be accessible on PC and requires a minimum configuration for Android devices, including a Snapdragon 670, Kirin 710, Helio X27, or Exynos 890 processor, 4GB of RAM, and an Android 7.0 64-bit or higher operating system.

Currently, there is no English language option for players outside China, despite the developer’s mention of an open beta. International fans will have to wait for further details on a global release. For more information, players can visit the official Aura Star 2 website.
