Bandai Namco has confirmed that Code Vein II will release on January 30, 2026, with versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The studio also revealed pre-order editions and expanded story details.
Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses
Pre-orders for Code Vein II are now available. The Standard Edition includes a pre-order bonus called the “Stylized Forma Set,” which grants a Forma Face Paint cosmetic and a unique weapon, Twin Fangs of the Lone Wolf.

The Deluxe Edition adds a Custom Outfit Pack, plus the Mask of Idris expansion DLC. Meanwhile, the Ultimate Edition includes early access, the DLC, costumes from the original Code Vein, and a digital artbook and soundtrack bundle.
Story & Gameplay Premise
Set in a dystopian future, Code Vein II introduces a narrative where humanity and Revenants struggle to survive in a collapsing world besieged by monstrosities dubbed Horrors, created in part by a phenomenon known as Luna Rapacis.

Players will assume the role of a Revenant Hunter, partnered with a mysterious girl named Lou, who can travel through time to alter past events and influence fates. This time-spanning journey allows the player to revisit key moments in Revenant history and reshape character destinies to prevent total ruin.

The game retains its action RPG roots, with familiar systems such as draining blood from enemies to gain skills, Blood Codes, and weapon customization via unique tools known as Jails. Partner companions return as well, evolving their bond with the player and shifting combat dynamics based on narrative choices.
