Fortnite Adds New Poppy Playtime “Escape Trials” Mode! Survive Huggy’s Hunt!

Poppy Playtime Escape Trials is a terrifying new crossover event being held by Fortnite. In this time-limited mode, you must team up with up to four players (or play alone if you’d rather) to get out of Huggy Wuggy’s grasp inside Poppy-inspired settings.

The Operation of Escape Trials

You’ll be in areas inspired by PlayTime Co. and the Game Station. These are recognizable locations from Poppy Playtime, but with a Fortnite twist. The objective? Avoid enemies, outsmart dangers, and survive. Characters like Smiling Critters and, of course, Huggy Wuggy himself will make appearances. As your team advances, the enemies’ level of difficulty increases, keeping the tension high throughout.

Additionally, you will collect audio recordings, collectibles, and bits of lore that add to the story of Poppy Playtime. The mode is designed to reward more than just reflexes; it also rewards exploration and teamwork.

Map Code & Skin Drop

On October 23, 2025, a Huggy Wuggy skin will be available in Fortnite’s Item Shop. In the meantime, adventurous gamers can use the map code 7441-2135-1198 to enter Escape Trials. This crossover might be your Halloween choice if you enjoy co-op escapes, scary cameos, and tense survival.
