“Genshin Impact” Anime Project Announced With Studio Ufotable

Hoyoverse’s “Genshin Impact” version 3.1 Livestream kicked off with a massive bang. Not only did it feature the new updates coming to the game, but it also announced some big projects coming soon including a collectible card game mode and probably the biggest announcement yet: An anime adaptation! What makes this big news? Studio Ufotable, the people behind Demon Slayer is animating it!

The studio revealed a teaser trailer where it featured the game’s mascot, Paimon, and the massive landscape of Mondstadt but was animated on “real-scale” proportions. You can clearly see iconic areas like Strafell Vally and Dragonspine Mountain. Although the trailer described its contents as only “concepts,” the animation is still breathtaking. And if they’re indeed only concepts, that only means the animation will get insanely better in the finished project.

Hoyoverse described the upcoming anime project as a “long-term project launch” which means this may be the first of many installments to the project. We get a seasonal anime series with the first seasons covering the events that transpired in Mondstadt.

Hoyoverse did not give any additional updates about the project so we really don’t have any solid idea on what or how the anime is going to turn out, but the short trailer was enough to make the “Genshin Impact” community explode! We’ll be sure to follow more updates about “Genshin’s” anime adaptation soon. To learn more about the game, visit their official website.
