The “Genshin Impact” community is blowing up right now. New major leaks have just surfaced for the highly anticipated 3.0 update where the new region, Sumeru will finally be coming to the game. Sumeru is the fourth region in Teyvat and is a land split between lush forests and arid deserts. It is also the region of the Dendro Element which means playable Dendro characters are finally coming to the game.
New Characters Have Been Leaked
The new 3.0 update has become one of the biggest game leaks in recent history. New characters of all shapes and sizes have gotten fans of the game excited. Despite Hoyoverse’s attempt to put a stop to leaks, more and more information is coming out almost every day. Before we move on, please be reminded that these leaks are still not fully confirmed and are subject to change. Here are some of the characters that are somewhat already confirmed coming in version 3.0.
Nahida (Kusanali), The Dendro Archon
Nahida is the current female Dendro Archon and the youngest out of the seven. She took the position after the death of the previous Dendro Archon, The God Of Woods, which puts her around 500 years old. She is a catalyst user. She’s also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali and the Flower Archon.
Tighnari
Tighnari is rumored to be one of the first 5 Star male Dendro characters coming to the game. He is a bow user and is somewhat a mix between Ganyu and Yoimiya in terms of his skill set. His Demeanor is said to be just like Albedo.
Collei
Collei is a 4 Star female Dendro character. Collei was introduced in the official “Genshin Impact” manga and has been one of the main focal points of the story. She has a sad background story but has now overcome those obstacles. Just like her inspiration, Amber, she will also wield a bow as her preferred weapon.
Dori
Dori is said to be a traveling merchant who looks a lot like Qiqi. Her full name is Dori Sangemah Bay and will be a claymore user and an electro vision holder. She is the third electro character to wield a claymore next to Razor and Beidou. Most of her skill set seems to be pointing towards support. Her skill animations include an electro slime that she uses to attack and hop around.
Nilou
Nilou is a 5 Star female Hydro Character that wields a sword. Nothing is confirmed about her skill set only that it will supposedly rely on Dendro and Hydro reactions to dish out major damage. Her character design looks a lot like a far eastern dancer or a priestess. Her attack animation also looks like she’s dancing or doing some ritualistic movements. She’s also sporting some horns and has a tattoo on her back that lead some people to think she has some animal bloodline just like Tignhari, Diona, and Dehya.
Dehya
Dehya is a female claymore user that wields pyro element, the third one to do so next to Diluc and Xinyan. Nothing much is known about Dehya right now but it is rumored that she’ll be an important character in the upcoming main storylines. If we could wager a guess, she’ll probably be like Beidou. Her outfit makes her look like a mercenary or a treasure hunter.
Al Haitham
If Zhongli was coined as the Geo Daddy, Al Haitham would be the Dendro Daddy. Aside from Kusanali and Nilou, he is one of the most hyped characters leaked but also the one with the fewest information. What we know so far is that he will be 5 Star character, has a connection to Zhongli, a prominent person in Sumeru, is very intelligent, and is shrouded in mystery.
And there you have it. We could have added Cyno to the list but not much information has been leaked about him just yet. “Genshin Impact” version 3.0 is set to release around August given that there will be no delays to Hoyoverse’s schedule.
