The wait is finally over: Hades II is breaking out of early access and officially launching worldwide this month. Developer Supergiant Games has announced that Hades II Version 1.0 will release on September 25, 2025, marking the full debut of the highly-anticipated dungeon-crawling sequel.

Already a hit in early access, Hades II will arrive as a free update for PC players who own the game, while console fans will be able to purchase it directly on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and other platforms. Pre-orders are now live across storefronts.

Supergiant confirmed that Hades II supports up to 120fps at 1080p in TV mode, with 60fps performance in handheld mode. Switch 2 owners will receive a free upgrade if they already own the game on the original Nintendo Switch. The game also supports cross-save between PC and Nintendo Switch, allowing players to seamlessly transfer progress across platforms.

For collectors, a physical edition will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 at US$39.99, including a game card, Character Compendium booklet, a soundtrack download code, and a reversible cover.

Fans can also catch a brand-new trailer showcasing the next chapter in Zagreus’ mythological adventure ahead of the official launch.
