Fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong have uncovered a surprising Easter Egg linking the game to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, an upcoming RPG from Sandfall Interactive that has been generating buzz since its reveal earlier this year.

How to Find the Easter Egg
Players reported that the secret can be discovered by traveling west of the Wormways area and playing the Needolin instrument in Weavenest Karn. If the area isn’t unlocked yet, you’ll need a Simple Key—priced at 500 Rosaries—to gain access.
Once Hornet performs the melody, a cryptic message appears about sleep and bondage, including the phrase “for those who come after.” This line is a direct nod to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and sparked immediate discussion among fans who recognized the reference.

A Homage from Team Cherry
The inclusion appears to be an intentional homage from Team Cherry to Sandfall Interactive, showcasing indie developers supporting each other’s work. Even a short line of text has created excitement, cementing Silksong’s reputation for its hidden secrets and layered world-building.
