Netmarble’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Announces Closed Beta Test for PC and PS5

Netmarble has officially announced a closed beta test (CBT) for its highly anticipated open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Developed by Netmarble F&C, the game first opened pre-registration in June and was recently highlighted at gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live with a brand-new trailer. Recruitment for the CBT is now live.

Play as Tristan in an Expansive Britannia

As the successor to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, this new entry introduces an open-world adventure across the vast land of Britannia. Players will step into the role of Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, embarking on a journey filled with exploration and discovery.

The game doesn’t just stick to traditional combat. Players can:

  • Dive underwater to uncover hidden secrets.
  • Fly across the skies for thrilling aerial exploration.
  • Enjoy side activities like fishing, puzzle-solving, and aerial adventures.

Adding to the excitement is a brand-new original multiverse storyline, written exclusively for the game. This promises fresh narratives for fans of the franchise, beyond the events of the manga and anime.
