Pokémon UNITE, the popular Pokémon-themed MOBA, will cease its services in Belgium and the Netherlands by November 30, 2025. Starting October 31, 2024, players in these regions will no longer be able to register or renew UNITE club memberships or purchase Aeos Gems.
The Pokémon Company announced this decision through an official notice, citing compliance with local gambling laws as the primary reason. Both countries have strict regulations regarding gacha-based loot boxes, which Pokémon UNITE had increasingly incorporated into its system.

Players are encouraged to use any in-game currencies, such as Aeos Gems, before the final shutdown date. While support will still be available until November 30, 2025, no further purchases or subscriptions will be allowed after October 31, 2024.
The decision has sparked disappointment among players, though there are no plans to end services for the global version of the game.
