Gravity Interactive has recently announced that the limited Closed Beta Testing phase for “Ragnarok Begins” (previously known as “Ragnarok Crusade: Midgard Chronicles) is going live soon! The game is a 2.5D side-scrolling MMORPG based on their popular “Ragnarok Online” game franchise. “Ragnarok Begins” will be available to test out for a limited time for PC and mobile devices.

Featuring a vast fantasy world full of mysterious monsters and epic characters with the classic Ragnarok art style, reborn as a side-scrolling arcade-style MMORPG. - A deep adventure with a colossal story as you unravel mysteries and conflicts! Challenge yourself in the Endless Tower, either solo or with friends. Test your might through group PVP and ranked battles in the Arena of Valhalla!

- Action-packed combat with non-targeting, allowing precise control of area-of-effect abilities! Gain movement abilities to dodge enemy attacks and out-maneuver opponents! Use a variety of potions and items to gain buffs and heal your character!
- Customize and upgrade your weapons, armor, and accessories with multiple progression systems! Build out unique skill trees for each job, as well as an adventure skill tree available to all jobs! Choose from 4 base jobs, each with 2 advanced jobs to progress into for endgame content!
- Create or join a guild with many guild activities and progression systems, including guild benefits and shared guild halls! Design and grow your own house with in-game progression systems! Join groups of adventurers to battle server-wide world bosses!
Closed Beta Test Begins
“Ragnarok Begins” will start its limited Closed Beta Test on October 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time and will last until October 19, 12:00 AM Pacific Time. You can download the game (for both PC and mobile) through their official website. During the CBT, “Ragnarok Begins” will hold several raffles for participating players. Prize and event details will be announced soon on their official Facebook page.
Do take note that this Closed Beta Test will be available for all players worldwide to test for both PC and mobile devices. Once the CBT is done, there is a chance that the game will schedule another one but will be for specific regions instead. There is no information about the official launch but seeing that this client is for the Western regions, there is a chance that the game will release for that specific region first before branching out to other parts of the world.
