Ragnarok: The New World Opens Pilot Test Recruitment for Southeast Asia

Gravity’s Ragnarok: The New World is taking its next big step with the launch of its Pilot Test recruitment phase, now open for adventurers across Southeast Asia. Players can test the early version of the upcoming reimagined Midgard and provide feedback to help shape its development in this limited, free, data-wiped test.

Players from Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand are eligible to take the test.

How to Sign Up

In order to participate in the pilot test, players must complete the recruitment questionnaire and join the game’s official Discord server, which is the only way to access the testing phase. Selected adventurers will receive notifications via email and Discord announcements on October 30 and November 5 after registering.

With support for both PC and Android, the pilot test enables seamless cross-play under a single account. Chinese, Thai, and English are among the supported languages.

Pilot Test Roadmap

The testing roadmap includes four main phases:

  • Recruitment: October 24 – November 5
  • First Wave Selection: October 30
  • Final Selection: November 5
  • Adventure Begins: November 7

This test will allow players to explore Midgard’s first-ever open world, featuring expansive landscapes, classic classes with deep build customization, and a more accessible progression system focused on fun rather than grind.

What Adventurers Can Expect

Expect to see traditional Ragnarok components, such as customisable cards, equipment, and skills, updated for contemporary gameplay. In order to provide a more balanced experience that combines nostalgia with new systems intended for exploration and creative builds, the development team promises a “less grind, less pay” structure.
