“Resident Evil 4” Remake Reveals New Cinematic Story Trailer

As part of “Resident Evil Showcase,” Capcom has dropped a new cinematic story trailer for the upcoming “Resident Evil 4” remake. The trailer showcases some of the game’s most memorable moments and features fan-favorite characters as well as the hated ones (yeah, we’re talking about you, Ashley.)

The trailer starts off by showing the iconic Spanish village where protagonist Leon S. Kennedy is assigned to investigate. He’s also tasked with locating and extracting Ashley Graham, the American president’s daughter, from the area. The trailer also shows updated versions of other characters including the main antagonist Ramon Salazar, the mysterious Ada Wong, and various bosses you’ll be encountering throughout your playthrough.

The trailer did not show any major changes to the original plot of “Resident Evil 4” but there are hints that there will be new twists happening. It’s been 17 long years since the original fourth installment of “Resident Evil” came out. Hopefully, with our new tech, the “Resident Evil 4” Remake will live up to everyone’s expectations and hype. You can watch the whole “Resident Evil Showcase” down below which also showcases “Shadow Of Rose,” the final chapter to the “Winters” saga that started in “Resident Evil VII” and will feature protagonist Ethan Winters’ daughter, Rose as she finds a way to get rid of her unnatural powers.

“Resident Evil 4” Remake is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2023, and will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. For more information, visit their official website.
