Konami’s “Silent Hill” live stream recently went live and held tons of new updates and announcements about the legendary survival horror game franchise. Multiple projects were revealed including various games, a movie reboot, and an interactive streaming series. One of the biggest reveals is the upcoming remake of “Silent Hill 2,” which is arguably one of, if not, the best entries in the franchise.
“Silent Hill 2’s” Steam page gives an overview of the game: Having received a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to where they shared so many memories, hoping to see her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her. “My name…is Maria,” the woman smiles. Her face, her voice… She’s just like her. Experience a master class in psychological survival horror―lauded as the best in the series―on the latest hardware with chilling visuals and visceral sounds.
“Silent Hill 2” will be developed by Bloober Team, known for their horror game titles including “Layers Of Fear,” “Observer,” “Blair Witch,” and “The Medium.” There’s no official release date for “Silent Hill 2” just yet but you can already add it to your wishlist on Steam. Hopefully, they’ll still include the hilarious alternate endings like the UFO abduction and the dog ending version.
