“Stellar Blade” formerly known as Project EVE has been officially revealed during the annual PlayStation State Of Play. The game is an action-packed sci-fi RPG developed by South Korean studio, ShiftUp. In “Stellar Blade,” players will take control of Eve who’s on a mission to save Earth and the last living humans.
If the character design for “Stellar Blade” looks awfully familiar, it’s because the legendary artist, Hyung-Tae-Kim created them. Known for his work with the Magna Carta series, Destiny Child, and Blade & Soul, Hyung Tae-Kim adds his signature sexy female characters wearing alluring clothing to the game.
“Stellar Blade takes place in the future where Earth’s surface is now uninhabitable and very hostile to humans. Eve meets a man named Adam and goes on a journey to Xion, the last surviving city on the planet. As Eve travels with Adam, she’ll meet different characters and form bonds with them, all the while moving forward to her mission of saving the planet from the invading alien species only known as the NA:tive.
Players will be able to perform chain combo attacks, face off against massive alien bosses, and challenge themselves by trying to do perfect dodges and counterattacks for more powerful strikes. There’s also the addition of Beta and Burst skills, powerful attacks that can deal massive damage to enemies.
“Stellar Blade” is set to launch in 2023 and will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for now. Plans for an XBox and PC release is yet to be announced but are highly possible.
