Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announce that Tales of Xillia Remastered is set for release on Thursday, 30 October 2025, for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S and Friday, 31 October 2025, for PC via Steam®.
Released in 2011, Tales of Xillia is the first title within the Tales of Series to feature two protagonists. Tales of Xillia Remastered has been preserved and brought back to life, retaining the story and original experience that fans love! Aside to improved graphics, additional features have been included to enhance gameplay – such as turning on/off display of destination icons and enemy encounters.

As part of the Tales of Series Remaster Project, the series’ masterpieces are being re-released, with improved graphics and increased play comfort!
In addition to adding quality-of-life features unique to the remastered version, the series’ familiar Grade Shop is also unlocked from the start, making for an even more comfortable gameplay experience.

About Tales of Xillia Remastered
Tales of Xillia returns with improved graphics and gameplay in Tales of Xillia Remastered. Follow Jude, a medical student, and Milla, a mysterious woman who calls herself Maxwell, the Lord of Spirits. After becoming involved in an incident, the two begin to work together, adding allies with various aspirations to their group as they draw closer to the truth of the hidden world. An epic adventure unfolds in the world of “Riese Maxia,” where humans and spirits coexist.
Remastered Improvements
The Tales of Xillia Remastered sees the following improvements made to the 2011 version.
Initial Release of Grade Shop
Available from the start of the first playthrough. Some purchased items can be turned on or off in “Grade Shop Settings.”
Destination Icons Display
Destinations in the main story are indicated by a “★” icon, as well as the remaining distance to the destination. Displays can be switched on/off from the Configuration menu.
Enemy Encounter
Enemy Encounter can be toggled on/off in “Encounter Settings”. If it is switched to “off”, you will not engage in battle even if you come into contact with enemy symbols in the field or dungeon.
More than 40 types of DLC
Over 40 types of DLCs (*excluding some) sold in the original version, such as costumes for characters are included.
