“The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” Netmarble Upcoming Open World RPG Releases New Trailer

Netmarble just released a brand new trailer for their upcoming open-world RPG, “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” after almost a year since its announcement. “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” will be a brand MMORPG based on the popular manga/anime of the same name. It was previously reported that the game will have cross-platform and crossplay support between Android, iOS, and PC.

“The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” is touted to be the successor to “The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross,” another RPG game under Netmarble, but unlike “Grand Cross” which was a turn-based RPG, “Origin” will be a full-blown open-world MMORPG based on the world of Britannia where time and space has been heavily distorted. You can watch the new trailer down below which was part of Netmarble’s showcase at South Korea’s annual gaming convention, G-Star 2022.

The new trailer features a bunch of new stuff never seen since its announcement, particularly the different open-world areas, the combat system, cut scenes, and the town (player hub). You can also see different characters and how they will play in the game including Melodias, Gowther, and Tristan. The open world of “Origin” is beautiful and breathtaking. Players can interact with their environment in various ways including flying, swimming, and more. Life features are also present like fishing and cooking.

“The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” will support cross-platform and cross-play features and will be available for mobile including Android and iOS, as well as PC. No release date has been announced just yet.
