The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025 is set to welcome approximately 250,000 gaming enthusiasts from around the globe. Scheduled from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, this year’s event will push the event to higher levels leaving a mark in the gaming industry.

Embodying the theme “Unlimited, Neverending Playground,” TGS2025 aims to create a dynamic space where games, creators, and players converge. To elevate the experience for both exhibitors and attendees, several improvements have been announced:

Notable Changes

The prestigious Japan Game Awards will precede TGS2025, taking place at Iino Hall in Tokyo on September 23. This adjustment allows the expo to concentrate more on interactive exhibits and developer-consumer engagements during its run.

Ticket Information

  • General Public Tickets: Sales commence in mid-July, offering access to the public days on September 27 and 28.
  • Business Day Tickets: Available starting mid-August, these tickets grant entry to the exclusive business days on September 25 and 26.
