Tribe Nine’s Gacha Rates and Rewards Disappoint Players

Within days of its release, Tribe Nine has garnered a ‘mostly negative’ rating on Steam, with 48% of 1,340 reviews expressing dissatisfaction. The game’s gacha system offers a mere 0.3% chance of obtaining top-tier characters, with a guaranteed 3-star character only after 80 pulls.

In-Game Rewards Fall Short

Players have noted a significant reduction in free-to-play rewards compared to the beta version, making it challenging to accumulate the currency needed for gacha pulls. The Tribe Nine community has been vocal about these issues, with many expressing disappointment and concerns over the game’s future.

Recommendations from Players

A lot of players took to Reddit to express their disappointment and shared some possible changes to the game that can help redeem itself:

  • Enhancing Gacha Rates: Improving the odds of obtaining high-tier characters.
  • Increasing Free-to-Play Rewards: Providing more opportunities for players to earn in-game currency.
  • Implementing a Pity System: Ensuring players receive high-tier characters after a set number of pulls.

Usually, first impressions last with gacha games especially with the gacha rates. Safe to say, Tribe Nine might have just royally screwed themselves with its greedy monetization practices. But there’s still a chance they can bounce back. We’ve seen gacha games with seriously bad mechanics bounce back and do better like Astra: Knights of Veda.

With a seriously bad first impression, Tribe Nine needs to address the concerns of its community as soon as possible or this game will be one of many forgotten titles that only lasted a few months before announcing End of Service.
