Ubisoft has announced Might & Magic Fates, a free-to-play trading card game (TCG) set in the iconic Might & Magic universe. Developed in partnership with Immutable, the game is slated for release on iOS and Android platforms later this year. This marks a significant expansion of the franchise, which has over 50 classic fantasy video games across multiple platforms.
Strategic Gameplay Meets Fast-Paced Matches
Might & Magic Fates offers players the opportunity to build powerful decks, master diverse mechanics, and engage in battles with iconic heroes and creatures from across time in the mystical Sea of Fates. The game features deep strategic gameplay, faction-based playstyles, and hundreds of cards to collect, designed to offer a competitive experience where victory is earned through skill, not spending.
Matches are powered by a mana system based on gold generated directly from the cards in your hand, resulting in fast-paced matches and layered deck-building strategies. Heroes play a central role, fighting alongside their army of creatures, equipping various artifacts, and earning experience during each battle to unlock abilities that can turn the tide of a match.

Optional Blockchain Integration for Card Trading
In addition to traditional gameplay, Might & Magic Fates incorporates optional blockchain technology through Immutable’s platform. This allows players in eligible regions to trade cards via an external marketplace, offering a true trading card game experience. Importantly, this feature is entirely optional and provides no competitive advantage, ensuring all players can enjoy the full experience without engaging with it.
Release Information
While an exact release date has not been announced, ‘Might and Magic Fates’ is expected to launch soon on mobile devices. Players can look forward to a blend of classic ‘Might and Magic’ elements with modern TCG mechanics.
