Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1: English Voice Actors for Lucy and Soukaku Replaced

In the latest update to Zenless Zone Zero (version 1.1), the English voice actors for the characters Lucy and Soukaku have been replaced. This change was announced in the patch notes alongside various optimizations and adjustments to the game. As part of the update, all voice lines for these characters have been completely re-recorded to reflect the new voice talent.

In addition to the voice actor changes, several agents, including Lucy and Soukaku, received improvements to their animations, visual effects, and gameplay mechanics. Soukaku, in particular, had enhancements to her buff icons and movement during combat.

Courtney Lin, the original English voice actor for Lucy—who also voices HuoHuo in Honkai: Star Rail—has not commented on the change, and no reason has been provided by HoYoverse. The identity of Soukaku’s original English voice actor remains unknown, as it was never revealed in the game.

HoYoverse has not disclosed the identities of the new voice actors, nor have they provided an official explanation for the replacements. While some fans have speculated that the changes might be related to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, it’s unlikely since the English dubbing for Zenless Zone Zero is managed by studios not involved in the union action.
