Koei Tecmo and Gust have officially announced that Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian will launch on September 26, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A PlayStation 4 version will also be released—but only in Japan.

Fans of the long-running Atelier series should mark their calendars, because this brand-new entry expands the universe introduced in Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator, and it’s shaping up to be one of the franchise’s most emotionally rich adventures yet.

What Is Atelier Resleriana About?

The game follows Rias Eidreise, a skilled adventurer with a gift for alchemy, and Slade Clauslyter, who can open portals to alternate dimensions. Together, they journey through the mysterious continent of Lantarna, searching for the lost people of Hallfein and uncovering the secrets of their own pasts.

But this isn’t a solo mission. Along the way, you’ll encounter beloved characters from earlier Atelier games—Sophie Neuenmuller, Totori Helmold, Wilbell Voll-Ersleid, and others—each offering help, heart, and a touch of nostalgia.
