Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay have officially announced Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, a sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Set to release in 2026, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Story and Setting

Set in 16th-century England, players will explore the Ethereal Castle, a massive structure under the control of Demon Lord Elias. The narrative follows two protagonists: Leonard Brandon, a young fighter from the Church’s Black Wolves clan, and Alexander Kyteler, a knight of the Kingdom’s White Stags. Together, they aim to defeat Elias and his six powerful vampire generals, the Sanguinaries.
