Arknights: Endfield Global Launch Character Tier List and Team Composition

Arknights: Endfield makes its highly anticipated global debut. As players step into the role of the Endministrator on the dangerous wilds of Talos-II, the challenge of building a balanced and effective squad becomes the top priority. Unlike traditional gacha titles, Endfield emphasizes real-time elemental synergies, complex skill rotations, and the strategic use of its unique “Breach” and “Crush” mechanics.

Whether you are aiming to maximize your damage output with a high-investment meta team or looking for the most efficient free-to-play options, understanding which operators stand above the rest is essential for surviving the Aggeloi threat.

Below, we share Prydwen’s trusty and comprehensive character tier list and best team composition for the current meta. Don’t forget that this tier list is for the global launch, and tier lists can change on a whim as more players test out characters and build new ways to use them.

Character Tier list for version Global Launch

The current top damager is Laevatain. She’s also the first featured banner in the game. Next is the best Amplifier, and also a FREE character, Ardelia. Her signature weapon will also be free to get as you progress through the game.

These two are followed by Last Rite, who only fell short of Laevatin because she strictly needs Cryo teammates, followed by the Physical Support Damager, Pog (who is also strictly for Physical Teams only). The next best Amplifier is a 4-Star character, Antal. Since he’s only a 4-Star unit, Antal can easily be maxed out in the game and still provide strong support.

The next best damage dealers would be Avywenna, who is a strict Electro Team comp, Da Pan, and Physical Endmin. Physical Endmin is the most accessible damage dealer for most players and can carry you in this current version with the proper team composition.

The next best support damagers will be Arclight, Chen, Endmin (if you want to play them as such), Lifeng, Perlica, and Wulfgard. Next, Amplifiers would be Akekuri (for Fire teams), Gilberta, and Xaihi.

Survivalist units focus more on defense. This is where Ember and Snowshine (a FREE character) excel.

Last but not least would be Wulfgard (if you really wanna play a long-range main DPS), Alesh, and Estella for support damage.

Bottom-tier support damage would be Flourite and, for survivalists, Catcher.

Best Team Compositions

Current best team comp would be Laevatain’s, comprising of her as the main DPS, Wulfgard or Akekuri as support damager, Antal as amplifier, and Ardelia, both serving as another amplifier and healer. This team comp focuses on Laevatain’s skill set and utilizes her teammates’ ability to apply burn on enemies so Laev can dish out heavy damage as well as the damage-over-time nature of Heat characters.

Second best would be Last Rite main DPS with Xaihi and Ardelia as your amplifiers, and Perlica as support damage. Last Rite is a bit of a niche character and has some unique mechanics in-game. To learn more, visit Prydwen’s website for a deeper dive.

Next team comp is the Physical team of Endmin, which is pretty much accessible for all players, as you get Chen and Ardelia for free. Best unit for the last slot would be Pog or Lifeng, who both need to be in a Physical team to best utilize their in-game mechanics. This is followed by Da Pan’s team, which is also a Physical team comp.

Avywenna’s team focuses on Electric team comps with a unique playstyle. Visit Prydwen’s website for a deeper dive.

Last Team comps would be Wulfgards and are probably the most free-to-play friendly team comp since you’ll only need Antal and Akekuri, both of which are 4-Star units, and Perlica and Wulfgard, both of which you’ll get for free as you progress through the game.

Last team is an Estella main DPS with Alesh as support damage, Ardelia as amplifier, and Endmin or Pog as additional support damage.

Final Thoughts for the Endministrator

As the meta for Arknights: Endfield continues to evolve following the global launch, remember that the “best” team is often the one that fits your personal playstyle and current roster. While S-tier giants like Laevatain and Ardelia offer a clear advantage in raw power, the game’s deep elemental system ensures that even lower-rarity operators can shine when placed in the right synergy-focused composition. Focus on mastering your rotations, experiment with different elemental reactions, and keep an eye on upcoming banners as new survivors and specialists join the struggle on Talos-II.
