Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Set to Premiere in 2026

The official Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime website and its Twitter/X account have just confirmed that Season 2 will premiere in 2026, marking a full year since the first season aired its debut episode in July 2024. To celebrate, a special anniversary illustration drawn by manga artist Toshi Aoi was released, featuring Will Serfort and his classmates stepping forward into a new chapter.

Returning Crew and Cast (Likely)

The first season was helmed by Tatsuya Yoshihara (known for Chainsaw Man action sequences) and animated by Actas alongside Bandai Namco Pictures, with character designs by Sayaka Ono and a score composed by Yuki Hayashi. Although the Season 2 team hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s highly likely this key staff and the original voice cast—Kohei Amasaki (Will), Akira Sekine (Elfaria), Satomi Amano (Colette), and more—will return.

What to Expect Next

Season 2 is expected to pick up where Season 1 left off—continuing the Graduation Finals Arc and progressing into the Blooming Festival chapter. This progression promises more intense arena battles and magical duels, expanding on the world’s lore and character development. Fans craving fast-paced sword and sorcery action will want to stay alert for staff updates and the official premiere window as the release date approaches.
