Calling all manga artbook collectors!

Major Japanese publisher Shueisha has recently launched a new label of Jump digital artbooks, Digiga, providing fans and collectors a “new way to enjoy art” through their smartphones and tablets.

Your Favorite Jump Titles in Your Pocket

On its launch, Digiga announced that they will begin the distribution to various e-bookstores starting November 10.

The initial lineup consists of titles from Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump Square. These are Katsura Hoshino’s D.Gray-Man, Yoshiaki Sukeno’s Twin Star Exorcists, Nobuhiro Watsuki’s Buso Renkin, Norihiro Yagi’s Claymore, Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s Kuroko’s Basketball, and Naoshi Komi’s Nisekoi

A Handpicked Digital Collection

Each Digiga features a manga’s carefully selected collection of existing colored illustrations, covers, and artworks that appeared in manga magazines. It may even include rare and new, original illustrations from manga creators themselves, as stated on their website.

Along with the collected artworks, Nisekoi received newly drawn cover illustrations for all three volumes. Buso Renkin’s bonus story for its bunkoban version and Claymore’s analog manuscripts have also been digitized and added.
