Bandai Namco Filmworks has just dropped an exciting new teaser for “Gundam Build Metaverse,” the upcoming anime set in a futuristic metaverse where users can engage in epic Gunpla battles. “Gundam Build Metaverse” is the latest addition to the “Gundam Build” series that started with “Gundam Build Fighters.”

The story follows a young boy named Rio Hōjō, who hones his Gunpla-building skills with the help of a local hobbyist and a mysterious figure known as Mask Lady. With his custom Lah Gundam, Rio sets out to battle ever-stronger opponents and become the ultimate Gunpla champion. Watch the teaser trailer down below!

The anime is directed by renowned animator Masami Obari, with series scripts supervised by Noboru Kimura and character designs by Hirona Okada, Yoriko Gotō, and Ippei Gyōbu. The series will be part of the “Gundam Next Future -Road to 2025-” project, which celebrates the franchise’s 45th anniversary.
