KONAMI Announces New Anime Series for Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES

KONAMI Digital Entertainment Limited has announced a new promotional short anime series for “Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES.” Revealed at Jump Festa 2025, the series will premiere in April 2025 on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube channel, with new episodes released monthly.

The anime will explore the backstories of popular monster cards, featuring characters such as Sky Striker Ace – Raye and her rival, Sky Striker Ace – Roze, highlighting their technological conflicts. Episodes will also delve into the narratives of Fallen of Albaz and Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous.

This project is produced by KONAMI animation, a studio established in February 2024 that combines KONAMI’s game development experience with animation production to create high-quality content for a global audience.

The series aims to deepen fans’ understanding of the lore behind their favorite cards, bridging the physical card game with its narrative universe. All episodes will be available on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube channel.
