“Oroka Na Tenshi Wa Akuma To Odoru” Is Getting An Anime Adaptation

Exciting news for manga fans! It has just been announced that Sawayoshi Azuma’s “Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru” will be getting its own anime adaptation. Kadokawa, the publisher of the manga, confirmed the news along with an illustration drawn by Azuma himself to commemorate the occasion.

For those unfamiliar with the story, “Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru” follows the adventures of Masatora Akutsu, a demon who has traveled to the human world to find an idol for his kind. There, he meets Lily Amane, whom he invites to join him on his quest. However, Akutsu soon discovers that Amane is actually an angel and tries to make her fall from grace.

Since its debut in June 2016, the manga has been serialized in ASCII Media Works’ seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh. It has since been compiled into fifteen tankōbon volumes, with the most recent volume released this past April. The anime adaptation will undoubtedly attract even more fans to the story and bring the characters to life in new and exciting ways.
