The second season of “Oshi no Ko” is officially on the horizon! The news was unveiled during the “Ichigo Production ☆ Fan Appreciation Festival 2023.” A new teaser trailer and visual was also shared.

Streaming platform HIDIVE has confirmed that it will stream the second season, with the announcement made at Anime Expo 2023. HIDIVE, recognized for its global anime content delivery, is gearing up to bring the new season to an international audience.

The first season, which premiered on April 12, delivered a 90-minute debut episode. HIDIVE streamed the anime as it aired in Japan and provided an English dub, making it the streaming service’s “#1 series launch in history.”

Daisuke Hiramaki and Chao Nekotomi directed the first season at Doga Kobo, with Jin Tanaka handling the series scripts and Kanna Hirayama designing the characters.

“Oshi no Ko” originated as a manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, commencing serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. The manga has garnered numerous accolades, including first place in the seventh “Next Manga Awards” and Best General Manga at the 46th annual Kodansha Manga Awards.
