The series centers on Alec Yugret, a dedicated court magician who specializes in support magic to aid the crown prince in dungeon expeditions. Despite his unwavering loyalty, Alec is abruptly dismissed for being perceived as “useless.” This dismissal propels him on a journey to demonstrate the true power of support magic.

The manga adaptation by Yuki Monji started in July 2021 and has 14 volumes as of January 2025, with the 15th volume scheduled for release on April 9.
